Introduction of the Club

The British Council English Club (BCEC) is a students' club and a non-profit making organization which was set up in 1978. It was also incorporated under the Societies Ordinance which is now administered by current and past students of the British Council. Ten committee members are elected each year to run the Club.

The club aims to:

Free Talk, Impromptu Talk, Presentation and Group Discussion are held weekly.

Time: 3 - 6 pm

Date: Sunday

Venue: Room 403, British Council

Recreational activities are also arranged several times a year like Christmas Ball, Reunion Party, Hiking, Sports Day and Karaoke Gathering etc.

Membership Fee:

HK$50 per year

Entry Requirement:

All past and present adult students of the British Council at level 4 (intermediate) or above are welcome to join.
